  • Angelica, Cut Root – The herb is also suitable for the preparation of tinctures, tonics and other herbal recipes. It can be used in the preparation of face wash as well.
  • Our 454g / 1 pound bag will produce more than 180 cups of tea.
  • TASTE: Angelica tea has bitter-sweet, pungent taste. It will produce light colored. Steep for at least 15 minutes for best results. In herbal recipes angelica combines well with nutmeg and gotu kola to provide connection between heart and mind. It is considered to have warm, dry energy.
  • Angelica is a plant of the parsley family, with large leaves, bright green stem sometimes tinged with purple. It is unique among the parsley family for its aromatic odor, different from fennel, parsley, anise or caraway. It has been compared to musk or juniper.
  • This variety is the European Angelica and it is different than the Chinese Angelica (Dong quai)
  • Foothills Naturals Angelica root is harvested in Croatia. It is certified ORGANIC, KOSHER and NON-IRRADIATED. It has undergone extensive testing for pathogens and heavy metals presence.

Shipping Policy

How long does it take before we ship your order:

Typically orders are shipped within 48-72 hours from the time the payment is processed. Unless we have been advised otherwise, all orders are shipped through Canada post Expedited Service. Within Canada it does take between 7 and 14 days to receive your order. In the rare case that anything should occur that would interrupt or lengthen this process, you will be contacted by email with status of your order.

How are your shipping costs calculated:

The shipping cost is based on the total amount of your order. It goes down with larger orders to eventual free shipping.

We do ship internationally:

All international orders are shipped using Canada Post Expedited Service. All overcharges on the shipping cost are refunded after your order is processed.

If you have made an error on your shipping address:

If your order has not shipped yet, you can contact us through email with subject line: URGENT and we will apply the change before mailing your package. 

Once shipped mailing address can’t be changed. You will be refunded (minus the shipping cost) if the parcel is returned to us. We always request undelivered packages to be returned to us.

Do you deliver to P.O. Box 

Yes, we do understand all the challenges of rural addressing within Canada. However if the parcel is lost, you would not be allowed to claim refund unless the Canada Post tracking number indicates that the package was never delivered.

Can orders be picked in person:

No. Our office is not set up to serve pick up orders. All orders will be shipped.


All orders are shipped with tracking number. The number will be automatically emailed to you. If you have not received your tracking information once your order was shipped, please email us and we will the happy to provide you with the information.

If your order was lost in the mail:

Please contact us as soon as you realize that your package is missing. Provide us with your tracking information. We will work with Canada Post to find your missing parcel or provide you with a refund.

Refund Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
